I thought I'd share what I've been up to during these chilly and sometimes warm winter months. More chilly I think .

In the fall I started taking some classes from a local artist and teacher and found a new love... oil painting. I honestly think her studio contains fairy dust because she makes magic happen and for me it is the most calming therapeutic thing I've ever done. I have been learning and putzing with it and submitted some pieces for selection for a show that will happen in Acworth, two of my paintings got selected. It may not seem like a big deal to most people, and especially folks who have been in the art world for a long time... for me it's a step, scary and def a baby step. What I hope most of all, that people enjoy my art.... I can only hope it makes them as happy looking at it as it does for me to paint it. Enjoy.
